Fire / Life Safety Plans and Programs
Various Federal and State regulations require fire/life safety programs be instituted in the workplace. Insurance companies base policies and premiums on the presence of property risk management programs and their effectiveness. If your company is part of the ISO Standards Certification Program, then you need to be compliant with the required risk control policies. Are your plans documented? Do you have policies in place to assure that emergency equipment and plans will actually work in an emergency? - Develop fire protection / life safety preventative maintenance and inspection programs to comply with federal, state and local laws, along with insurance company recommended practices.
- Help the client create fire / life safety corporate standards
- Development of pre-fire plans and familiarization exercises with the local emergency responders
- Develop fire protection impairment and hot work policies as required by the New York State Fire Code and OSHA
