This class covers the fire safety requirements as outlined in the NYS Fire Code, Building Code, Existing Building Code and NFPA 241. There is also a review on how these codes relate to the OSHA Construction standard 29CFR1926. - FCNYS Section 901 – Testing, Inspection and Maintenance of Fire Protection Systems Overview

This class gives a general overview of the NYS Fire Code requirements for the acceptance of new fire protection systems and the required testing, inspection and maintenance of those systems after installation. - Records for Fire Inspections

This class reviews the required inspection records that need to be presented for regulatory review by a property owner. Discussed in this session will be the types of inspections, frequency of inspections and document retention policies. - Emergency Planning and Preparedness

This class will give an overview of the requirements of FCNYS Chapter 4 (Emergency Planning and Preparedness). Discussed in this session will be fire-safety planning, training and drills for various types of occupancies.
